Mission Statement It is the mission of the Alvarado ISD Child Nutrition Program to serve each student meals that are appealing, nutritious and appetizing in an environment that is safe, clean, and cheerful. The child nutrition program is designed as a service organization and, as such, has a primary obligation in making this service available to all students and staff. The program works to see that students are taught the value of proper nutrition and good food habits.
