Hall of Excellence

Hall of Excellence

Alvarado ISD has created a Hall of Excellence to appropriately recognize and honor graduates of Alvarado High School whose achievements, strength of character and citizenship serve as models to Inspire and Empower today's Learners.

It is also fitting that we find a way to acknowledge the impact of those who have served Alvarado ISD through educating our district's children.

The Distinguished Alumni Award shall be open to any alumnus or alumna who attended Alvarado High School for a minimum of three (3) years and is at least 30 years of age at the time of nomination and who has distinguished himself/herself by rendering extraordinary service and achievement to a particular career or organization. Consideration will be given to individuals who have made a difference to the Alvarado community.

To qualify for nomination for a Distinguished Service Award, a faculty member must have completed at least ten (10) years of service to the District. At least three (3) years must have elapsed between the nominee's last full-time service to the District and the end of the school year in which the award is to be granted. Persons who have served on the Alvarado ISD Board of Trustees for any period may also be nominated for this award.

If you would like to nominate someone for this honor, please complete the nomination form below and return to the Public Information Officer's office by September 6, 2019.
